A Engineeringtalk guide

Start with the news release Deskartes launches Expert software series from DeskArtes, which we summarised at the time by saying "Deskartes has launched the 3Data Expert 8.1, Dimensions Expert 8.1 and View Expert 8.1 software packages.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Software makes test data easier to process from National Instruments: "DIAdem makes it easy to manage, analyse and report on data collected during data acquisition or generated during simulations.".

In April 2008, we covered the news from DeskArtes - take a look at Expert software gives 3D data new purpose which says: "Software helps engineers to efficiently create and manipulate faceted models for 3D printing, rapid prototyping, simulation, manufacturing and analysis.".

Take a look also at the news release from Visual Technology Services, Development kit puts 3D models in PDFs, as well as Software puts PLC controls though their paces from Emulate3D, and Software makes it easier to program several robots from ABB Robotics.
