We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Welding Systems", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Engineeringtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Linear encoders suit aluminium smelters from Newall Measurement Systems, which we summarised at the time by saying "The SHG-TT incremental encoder is capable of achieving high accuracy and provides a differential quadrature output at RS422 TTL levels". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Welding products improve productivity from ESAB: "ESAB's Aristo MechTig C2002i power souce has an integral water cooler and high-specification controller with a graphical interface".

In June 2007, we covered the news from Orbitec concerning its Narrow weld heads - take a look at Narrow weld heads get straight to the point which says: "New enclosed gas-cooled narrow weld heads offer users of the orbital welding process a choice of compact, cost effective and efficient tooling solutions".

Take a look also at the news release from Cognex UK, Welders incorporate vision technology, as well as Webcasts explain motion control concepts from Aerotech, and Automated assembly system fabricates sensors from Festo.
