Start with the news release MGP cylinder series prevents actuator failures from SMC Pneumatics (UK), which we summarised at the time by saying "SMC Pneumatics is offering the MGP cylinder series for customers experiencing actuator failures.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Schunk launches five-axis work-holding systems from Schunk Intec: "Schunk Intec has developed a range of five-axis work-holding solutions that aim to improve machining efficiency and further enhance the capabilities of customers' machine tools.".
 
In October 2009, we covered the news from Schaeffler (UK) - take a look at Schaeffler launches HLE hydrostatic linear guides which says: "Schaeffler has developed the HLE range of hydrostatic linear guides that is said to combine good dampening characteristics with the compact dimensions of a profiled linear guide.".
