Aaxeon has announced the release of its Optolinx FCU-3002A series of unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet media converters.
The FCU-3002A media converters support 10/100/1000BaseT Ethernet twisted-pair and 1000BaseX fibre optic.
The FCU-3002A allows users to connect an Ethernet network to a fibre optic network.
As with other models in the Optolinx range of media converters, the FCU-3002A maintains the same quality.
The converters comply with IEEE 802.3/u/ab 10/100/1000BaseT and with IEEE 802.3z 1000Base-X.
Other features include: store and forward switching mechanism; auto negotiation in TP port; auto crossover for MDI/MDIX in TP port; support for flow control; and support for link alarm.
