Meters cut the cost of gas flow accuracy

An Aalborg product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 27, 2008

Dependable, cost-effective gas meters are equipped with a built-in tiltable LCD readout.

Designed as an economical solution for thermal mass flow applications, Aalborg's enhanced GFM line assures accurate gas flow measurements at a low cost.

Advantages of these meters include: sturdy metallic construction, straight tube sensors, and flow passage elements made of aluminium and brass for noncorrosive gases or 316 stainless steel for corrosive applications.

An additional feature is the meters' insensitivity to gas and temperature variations.

These dependable, cost-effective gas meters are equipped with a built-in tiltable LCD readout.

Available options include a remote LCD readout for viewing convenience and a rechargeable battery kit for portability.

The GFM line features a maximum pressure rating of 34.5bar, with leak integrity rated at 0.1ul/s of helium.

Units can produce 0-5V DC and 4-20mA output signals as standard and come with a totaliser option.

These units, individually NIST traceably calibrated and programmed, conform to or exceed customers' requirements.
