Aalborg offers mass flow meters

An Aalborg product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Dec 22, 2008

Aalborg's expanded mass flow meter line consists of low cost GFM Mass Flow Meters, higher accuracy AFM Meters, wide-range Vortex Meters and Digital DFM and XFM meters.

All models are rugged and precision-designed for measuring gas flow rates.

Each is individually programmed and NIST-traceably calibrated.

The GFM Meter measures corrosive and non-corrosive gas flow rates, has a totaliser option, can be used as a portable device and is equipped with circuit protection and a removable and tiltable LCD readout.

AFM incorporates an advanced straight-tube sensor, is accurate to +/-one per cent F.S and generates output signals of 0-5V DC or 4-20mA.

DFM features simultaneous digital / analogue outputs and accurate data on flow, pressure and temperature.

XFM is a hi-tech smart meter with an optional Profibus interface.

It supports up to 32 engineering units (including user-defined).

GFC has a controller accuracy of +/-1.5 per cent F.S.

with +/-0.5 per cent of F.S.

repeatability.

The LCD readout is built on top of the transducer.

AFC has controller flow ranges of 10mL/min to 100LPM [N2].

DFC digital controller can store primary calibration data for up to 10 gases.

A multi-calibrated unit maintains the rated accuracy on each.

Vortex, or VXM, can measure water, steam and air flow rates and features dual signal technology and accuracy of +/-0.5 per cent of rate.

Flange, wafer and insertion mountings are available.
