Hypoid gearheads bring increased speed
Hypoid gearheads in two classes complement worm and bevel models.
Alpha has launched a range of hypoid gearheads to complement its worm and bevel models The HG+ low-backlash hypoid gearhead has a hollow-shaft, right angle design providing high torque and speed, gear ratios in a single stage, low noise, high efficiency and freedom from wear

Catalogue brings families together
New complete catalogue from Alpha and Wittenstein replaces Alpha's previous system of blue binders and single-product loose catalogues.
It thus provides a constant torsional backlash as well as reversibility with all ratios.
With a hollow-shaft flange output, the TK+ is a high-precision, multi-purpose product and achieves higher torque transmission than conventional designs.
Higher speeds, especially for shafts that previously demanded a combination of a planetary stage and a bevel gear, and higher single-stage reduction ratios are the result.
It runs as smoothly as a worm, yet resists fatigue.
The SK+ right-angle gearhead suits positioning tasks implemented with a rack-and-pinion system.
These systems come in two precision classes - Smart Class and Premium Class - both of which are compatible with SK+.
The complete unit is supplied by Alpha with the pinion preassembled on the gearhead and quick mounting method.
