Buchanan arrives to head up new division

Buchanan comes to Altair from Simpact Engineering where, as a Director, he generated new business across a range of industries.
He has also worked for British Aerospace, MSX International and MIRA (Motor Industry Research Association).
In the automotive industry he gained particular skills in CAE evaluations of crashworthiness of high performance motor vehicles such as the Jaguar X-Type.
In the aerospace industry, he specialised in structural analysis work.
