EC Engineering, headquartered in Krakow, Poland, has chosen Altair HyperMesh as its preferred finite-element analysis (FEA) software.

HyperMesh is one of a number of advanced engineering solutions in the Altair HyperWorks suite.

HyperMesh is a high-performance, easy-to-use finite element pre- and post-processor that allows engineers to analyse product design performance in a highly interactive and visual environment.

It also significantly reduces modelling time, and, in doing so, reduces time to market for particularly robust products.

Right now, EC Engineering will use the software primarily in projects related to the aerospace industry.

However, the company has plans to extend the use of the tool to projects in other industries.

"One of our engineers introduced HyperMesh to our company", said Ireneusz Luczak, General Manager of EC Engineering.

"I am very satisfied with the performance of the HyperWorks suite product".

"It is by far faster, easier to use, and much more efficient than the tool we used before".

"I expect to discover more advantages of the software as we work with it in our team".

"As we purchase more licenses of the HyperWorks tool, we aim to include it in all industry projects where we need a state-of-the-art finite element pre- and post-processor".

"We are very pleased to see products of the HyperWorks suite used by well-known engineering companies such as EC Engineering", said Dr Detlef Schneider, Managing Director of Altair Germany.

"In Poland and Eastern Europe they are one of the premier companies in providing superior engineering services".

"To do that, their customers expect them to work with best-in-class software products such as the HyperWorks suite".

"We look forward to supporting EC Engineering as they continue to expand the use of HyperWorks into all the industries they serve".
