Altair Engineering's free, one-day Composites Seminar will explore how HyperWorks can unlock the potential of composite design to improve performance

Altair Engineering's 2007 Composites Seminar will be held on 12th June.

This free, one-day seminar taking place at Altair UK's Head Office in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, will provide practical insights into how this technology can directly impact composite design processs.

The Altair Composites Seminar aims to present how Altair's computer aided engineering (CAE) software suite, HyperWorks, can unlock the potential of composite design to improve performance.

Industry leading companies including Airbus UK, Lola Cars, High Modulus and Anaglyph will demonstrate first hand how they have successfully used CAE software tools to improve their composite designs and manufacturing processes.

The morning session demonstrates how virtual models can be efficiently generated and the resulting performance assessed.

The afternoon session showcases optimisation techniques specifically developed to address the challenges of composite materials.

The event also provides a valuable opportunity to meet others in the digital composite design community and will promote ideas for visitors to take back to their workplaces.
