Alarming performance from weighing scales
Adam Equipment has introduced a new range of industrial weighing scales to suit the needs of a wide variety of industries from building supplies to electronics manufacturing.
Budget balances have up-market features
Adam Equipment has a novel range of high-precision analytical balances with features normally only found in more expensive models.
The prices also offer a cost effective alternative for companies who currently hire counting scales, and who would prefer the flexibility of owning their own machines to carry out more frequent stock checks.
The Adam T- counting scales are available in two versions: the TCC bench-top units with capacities up to 30kg, and the TFC free-standing floor scales with capacities up to 300kg.
Both bench top and floor standing models are fully portable with rechargeable, long life batteries - essential in large warehouses - and feature large capacity stainless steel weighing platforms.

Fast response from oxygen analyser
The Series 2700 fast-response oxygen analyser uses an advanced, compact paramagnetic oxygen sensor to provide accurate and repeatable results with millisecond response times.
Leak tester incorporates process monitor
More powerful software, process drift alarms, and Ethernet communication are key trends shaping production leak testers.
The scales are easy to operate.
Just enter the weight of a single item on the keypad or place a known number of items on the scale and key in the number.
The scale will then automatically display the unit weight, total weight and number of items on the platform on the large backlit display, which can be easily read at a distance even in poorly lit warehouses.
The internal readability of the scales is so good that even the 300kg model will count parts as small as a few grams.
Because the bigger the sample the more accurate the result, the TC sample enhancement software can be set automatically to update the average unit weight as items are loaded onto the platform during counting.
A check counting function is provided which, along with the taring facility, can be set to provide an audible warning of high or low contents in packages, allowing high speed checking without the necessity to read the display after each package.
The closely related packaging function allows a preselected number of items to be programmed, and an audible alarm sounds to tell the operator when this quantity has been reached or exceeded during loading.
The memory accumulation feature keeps a running tally of every individual count and shows not only the current batch details but the overall total count and the number of batches counted.
This makes it easy to break down large loads into more easily handled batches.
An optional RS232 port allows this information to be downloaded to a computer or printer, making inventory control simple and providing auditable records for quality assurance purposes.
