An Aaeon product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Nov 5, 2007

Aaeon's AOP-8060XT panel PC is designed for entertainment, kiosk, vending machine and machine control panel or factory automation applications.

Aaeon's AOP-8060XT panel PC uses the Intel Celeron-M 600MHz/1.3GHz to deliver better performance than the traditional RISC HMI.

It comes with 512Mbyte of onboard system memory and suits the Windows XP embedded environment for software integration.

The AOP-8060XT has a seven-inch 16:9 LCD display.

A slim, fanless and rugged design makes the AOP-8060XT suitable for installation in compact spaces.

It has a number of I/O ports for device connections, including RS-232, two USB1.1 ports, one VGA port, one audio line-out port and one PS/2 keyboard and mouse Mini-DIN port.

It also has an IP65-certified front panel.

It is designed for entertainment, kiosk, vending machine and machine control panel or factory automation applications, making the water-resistance a necessary feature to deal with the severe weather and human efforts.

The software can be upgraded to satisfy complicated application demands.
