Contract supports railways operations control

AEA Technology Rail has been awarded a three-year contract by Network Rail Information Management to support CCF, the Network Rail operations control system.

AEA Technology Rail has been awarded a three-year contract by Network Rail Information Management to support CCF, the Network Rail operations control system.

CCF is widely used across the rail industry as a source for train running and performance information.

The system is used by both Network Rail and train operating companies and is installed in all of the combined integrated control centres.

AEA Technology Rail will provide support for CCF for the next three years; this will include CCF map changes as required by enhancements to the Network Rail infrastructure.

The contract with Network Rail Information Management is valued at GBP 850,000.
