Using a patented rotary screw type compressor, the Smart range features a unique encapsulated air end that minimises component parts, and therefore increases reliability and longevity.
In addition, the encapsulated air end features three stages of air/oil separation which reduces oil carry over, providing very clean compressed air at the system outlet.
These features also contribute to a significant reduction in noise levels during operation, with models now producing between only 69 and 71dB, making the compressor suitable for direct integration into the working environment.
Ease of use is also an important feature of the new Smart compressors.
Sensors within each compressor provide constant feedback on system performance to the Controltronik microprocessor control system, with operating data being visible on a dual digital display.
This enables operators to maintain the maximum efficiency of the compressor and to ensure that compressed air is produced reliably and according to specifications.
The Smart Series compressors are extremely rugged and are housed in an attractive enclosure, which provides additional protection.
The reduced number and high reliability of the compressor components minimises the need for maintenance procedures, however, the internal design of the Smart Series compressors is such that access for maintenance has been simplified.
The new Smart range features 12 different models, from the smallest Smart 0713, with a 13bar working pressure and an output of 0.60m/min to the Smart 3008, operating to 8 bar with an output of 3.40m/min.
All models in the range are extremely compact and can be easily and safely positioned using a standard pallet or fork-lift truck.
