An award of a prestigious Harley Davidson motorcycle has been made to Paul Friday, Sales Director at ABB's Drives Alliance Partner, Halcyon Drives following a highly successful 2001.

Electrical equipment from ABB Automation is being installed as part of a £20m programme by East of Scotland Water (ESW) to upgrade water supplies to central Scotland.
Friday notes that although he personally accepted the Harley Davidson Sportster 883 it was an award to everyone at Halcyon.
He comments: "It was a magnificent team effort and we are very proud to have won this prize".
Halcyon's success has come about following its investment in staff and training.
It developed its sales and service capabilities during the year.
Halcyon is the largest company in the ABB Drives Alliance scheme both in terms of turnover and sales.
Alan Baird, ABB's Drives Alliance Channel Partner Manager handed over the motorbike at a ceremony in Manchester.
Baird remarks; "This was a spectacular achievement that we hope will be repeated this year".
ABB intends to mark the success of its channel partners by a similar ceremony each year although not all winners will be lucky enough to win a Harley Davidson.
