ABB has expanded its successful range of component drives by adding 1.5 and 2.2kW versions to its existing 0.18, 0.37 and 0.75kW models ABB component drives are small, simple, low-cost drives used to control pumps, fans, gates, conveyors and materials handling equipment across a wide range of industries
They can also replace other components such as contactors and soft starters.
The drives have an easy and descriptive interface and do not require programming.
Their compact size and thin shape (from 45 to 70mm) make them ideal for most installations, including DIN rail mounting.
An integral EMC filter offers low EMC emissions, and the switching frequency is optimised automatically to provide the lowest possible motor noise.
ABB component drives are designed to offer an optimised range of off-the-shelf solutions for rapid delivery to OEMs, installation companies and panel builders.
