By completing a prepaid card inside each consumer unit, electrical apprentices will receive a membership card and a welcome pack explaining the benefits of the support scheme, together with free lifestyle vouchers which can be spent at a number of high street stores including, Virgin, B and Q, WHSmith and British School of Motoring.
ABB has developed its Apprentice Support Scheme in association with JTL, the industry's leading training provider.
Through the scheme ABB is helping to develop the skills of apprentice electricians by supporting JTL in providing course materials as well as domestic circuit protection products that will enable 'hands on training' in selected colleges throughout the country.
Joining the scheme will entitle members to a range of exciting and educational benefits.
These include: free lifestyle and educational vouchers when purchasing selected ABB domestic products; priority information on new products from ABB; invitations to ABB sponsored educational seminars and events; regular information on new issues affecting the electrical industry.
