OEMs and panel builders requiring line and equipment protection products to meet North American standards can now specify ABB's System pro M range of modular DIN rail installation products.

OEMs and panel builders requiring line and equipment protection products to meet North American standards can now specify ABB's System pro M range of modular DIN rail installation products with both the USA UL and Canadian CSA approvals.

The UL/CSA approved products are available as standard off the shelf items for fast delivery at no extra cost.

In order to meet the requirements of the UL and CSA standards ABB has paid particular attention to achieving the specified creepage and clearance between poles under the special voltages in North America.

The approvals, UL 1077 (USA 480V) and CSA C22.2 No 235 (Canada 600V), apply to devices used in a variety of applications including industrial power systems, UPS, motor protection, transformers, and semiconductors.

The UL/CSA approvals cover a wide variety of ABB System pro M MCBs (miniature circuit breakers) with one to four poles and rated up to 63A, together with auxiliary devices, as well as the F 370 range of RCCBs (residual current operated circuit breakers), and the P 270 people protector RCBO (residual current operated circuit breaker with overcurrent protection).

ABB's modular System pro M for DIN rail installation includes a complete range of built-in devices for protection, switching, control and monitoring functions alongside Europe's best-selling miniature circuit breakers.

Also included are a number of time-saving wiring and installation tools.
