The System Pro M range of MCBs is now certified by four of the world's leading marine classification associations.

ABB's System Pro M range of MCBs (miniature circuit breakers) is now certified by four of the world's leading marine classification associations - DNV (Det Norske Veritas), LRS (Lloyds Register of Shipping), GL (Germanischer Lloyd) and BV (Bureau Veritas).

Increased demand by shipping companies for electrical switchgear, able to withstand tough environmental conditions such as heat, humidity, electrical interference and vibration, are raising performance standards.

ABB is maintaining its competitive edge having successfully complied with stringent design and manufacturing procedures laid down by these four associations.

ABB's marine-approved MCBs include versions with one to four poles, rated up to 63A with a maximum breaking capacity of 10kA in accordance to BS EN60898, and are available with B and C tripping characteristics as well as UL (universal current) versions with a choice of either 'k' or 'z' tripping characteristics.

ABB's modular System pro M for DIN rail installation includes a complete range of built-in devices for protection, switching, control and monitoring functions alongside Europe's best-selling miniature circuit breakers.

Also included are a number of time-saving wiring and installation tools.
