ABB is holding a series of technology days around the UK, offering all you need to know about some of the more challenging aspects of electrical engineering Held throughout the year, each day will tackle four key topics concerning engineers in the industry

Created and hosted by experts from ABB, each technology day will take a straightforward approach to unravelling the mysteries of topics such as electrical discrimination and harmonics.
Aimed primarily at M and E engineers, consultants and design contractors in the building services sector, each module will run for around one hour and cover the main issues associated with each key topic.
Some of the topics covered will include: Electrical discrimination; An easy guide to harmonics and power quality; Section L of the Building Regulations; intelligent building controls; and PLC applications and web technologies in buildings and industry.
The technology days will be held on the following dates: 27th April, Railway Industry Association, London; 24th May, Villa Park, Birmingham; 7th September, ABB, Sunderland; 28th September, City of Manchester Stadium, Manchester; 19th October, Cardiff University, Cardiff; 16th November, Railway Industry Association, London; and 30th November, Murrayfield, Edinburgh.
