The RWY282 dual-output, push-pull DC/DC convertor is designed for railway and other critical applications in harsh environments.

The RWY282 dual-output, push-pull DC/DC convertor is a recent addition to Absopulse Electronics' rugged, field-proven RWY series.

Designed for railway and other critical applications in harsh environments, this high density convertor provides a complete 280W power solution in a compact 112 x 201 x 61mm enclosure and weighs 1.3kg.

The standard RWY282 design delivers two independently regulated outputs; any single voltage on either output is available within a 5 to 72V DC range with a maximum of 140W or 12A per output, whichever value represents the limit.

The outputs are floating and either terminal can be grounded.

The unit accepts single inputs of 24, 36, 48, 72 or 110V DC with wide supply voltage ranges.

The RWY282 meets the stringent requirements of EN50155 for electronic equipment used on railway rolling stock.

Full encapsulation in a thermally conductive MIL-spec silicon rubber compound ensures immunity to shock, vibration, humidity, moisture, salt and airborne contaminants.

Conduction cooled via a base plate, the unit performs to full specification at temperatures from -40 to +70C.

It meets EN55022 Class B and EN50121-3-2 (conducted and radiated) EMI requirements as well as the immunity and input isolation requirements stipulated for EN50155 and other relevant standards.
