Rugged DC/DC convertor is designed for operation in industrial and other heavy-duty applications.

Absopulse Electronics' BAP765F is a rugged DC/DC convertor developed for operation in industrial and other heavy-duty applications.

The unit uses field-proven push-pull topology to deliver up to 1500W from a compact, ruggedly constructed 160 x 292 x 61mm chassis.

The standard version provides 24, 36, 48, 72, 96 or 120V DC and accepts a 125V DC (105-145V range) input.

Other input/output configurations are available on request.

An optional redundancy diode is also available.

This fan cooled convertor is rated for operation from 0 to +50C at full power without derating, with extended temperature ranges available as an option.

Other options include additional ruggedising and conformal coating for applications requiring immunity to shock, vibration, humidity and moisture.

The unit features full electronic protection and 85% efficiency at full load, depending on input voltage.

The BAP765F is filtered to meet EN55022 Class A EMI as a minimum and is designed to meet international safety approvals including EN60950 and related UL and CSA standards.

The BAP765F is priced at US $816 at quantities 100.
