Rugged Eurocard DC/DC convertor is designed to meet the requirements of EN50155 for electronic equipment used on railway rolling stock.

Absopulse Electronics' BAP 236R-EH Series is a rugged, plug-in (Eurocard) DC/DC convertor designed for railway and other harsh-environments.

This 200W unit uses field-proven topology to deliver any DC output up to 130V DC.

It can be operated from supply voltages of 24V DC (14.4 - 37V), 36V DC (22 - 55V), 48V DC (28-74V), 72V DC (42-110V), 96V DC or 110V DC (57-168V).

Other inputs are available on request.

A built-in redundancy diode allows for parallel connection to achieve higher output power or N+1 redundancy.

The BAP 236R-EH is designed to meet the requirements of EN50155 for electronic equipment used on railway rolling stock.

It also meets EN55022 Class B EMI and EN50121-3-2 (EMI and EMC).

The series is rated for operation over a -25 to +70C temperature range without derating, with natural convection cooling.

It features full electronic protection on the input and output, an optocoupler alarm output and optional control input.

This compact plug-in module measures 3U x 14HP x 220mm and is typically used in 19in rack-mount applications.

The BAP 236R-EH is heavily ruggedised and conformal coated and designed to meet IEC61373 Categories 1 A and B shock and vibration standards.
