CTP 3K delivers 3kVA three-phase sine-wave power

An Absopulse Electronics product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Feb 23, 2009

Absopulse Electronics has released the Absopulse Electronics CTP 3K Series industrial quality inverter system, which delivers 3kVA, three-phase sine-wave output power.

Standard CTP 3K systems provide 208Vrms, 380Vrms or 415Vrms continuous symmetrical three-phase output at 50Hz, 60Hz or 400Hz from inputs of 24V, 36V, 48V, 25V or 250V DC.

Other input and output options are available on request.

The CTP 3K Series is comprised of four fan-cooled modules in a 6U, 19in rack-mount or chassis-mount assembly.

Three of the modules perform the DC/DC voltage conversions.

The fourth module performs the DC voltage to three-phase AC voltage conversion.

The modular nature of this design facilitates on-site maintenance.

This rugged inverter features high efficiency, tight output regulation and less than five per cent total harmonic distortion at full load.

It has full electronic protection including current limiting, short-circuit protection, surge protection and thermal shut-down with automatic recovery.

The CTP 3K meets international safety approvals C22.2 No.107.1-01, UL458 and EN60950 and is filtered to meet EN55022 Class A as a minimum.

Options include remote shut-down, output fail alarm (Form C) and rugged and conformal coating for operation in extreme environments.

Pricing for the CTP 3K depends on customer electrical configuration requirements.

Absopulse offers an extensive range of single and three-phase sine-wave inverters with output power ranging from 30VA to well over 12kVA.
