Alibre has devised a new schedule of affordable customer support services for Alibre Design customers.
Alibre has devised a new schedule of affordable customer support services for Alibre Design customers.
Since the release of version 4.0, Alibre has offered the Alibre Assistant, an integrated tool that gives customers real-time access to support as they use Alibre Design.
The Alibre Assistant represents a group of customer support representatives who provide expert technical guidance and support.
Now, the purchase of Alibre Design or Alibre Design Professional includes one hour each month of support from the Alibre Assistant - by phone or online - for the first year of service and while on maintenance thereafter.
Additional support is $50 per hour.
Now, customers may also request formal online training, which is $95 per hour.
Additionally, design services - defined as work by the Alibre Assistant directly on customers' designs - is priced at $95 per hour.
"By giving customers a free hour of support each month, we're putting $600 of value into Alibre Design, which is still the most affordable application in the industry by far, even at the new price of $695", said J Paul Grayson, Alibre President and CEO.
"The Alibre Assistant is our unique and innovative approach to customer support.
Although customers praise Alibre Design as easy to learn and use, we know that they need responsive support so that they can be productive immediately".
Alibre redefines professional solid modelling with the low-cost Alibre Design application for 3D parametric solid modelling.
Alibre Design lets designers, engineers and their associates create 3D models and 2D associative drawings, and its integrated online tools let users share and edit product designs from different CAD applications, and collaborate in real time using precise design data.
These tools also allow for advanced support and training directly from the online Alibre Assistant.
Additionally, the application's support for open data standards such as Step provides a CAD-neutral environment.
