Better performance from budget solid modelling
Alibre Design 5.1 offers a wide range of customer-driven improvements and demonstrates Alibre's commitment to delivering professional mechanical CAD software at an affordable price.
Value-added resellers are free to set their own prices in regional markets based on their ability to provide local language versions of the product and local support and training.
Current prices remain in effect in North America until 31st May.
"The suggested retail prices have been official for all markets except for the United States and Canada for some time", said Greg Milliken, President and CEO of Alibre.
"Our business outside of North America has been increasing dramatically due to strong reseller partnerships and the availability of localised versions of the software".
"After we analysed the market worldwide and listened to our partners, levelling prices made sense".
Milliken continues: "It's hard to believe that Alibre Design, a professional 3D parametric solid modeller directly comparable to SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor, costs $100 less than AutoCAD LT".
"We still unquestionably offer the best value on the market".
