Reliable clamping for budget shaft
series
Abssac has a new miniature series of solid shaft couplings in stainless steel and aluminium.

Solid couplings tackle stiffer tasks
Abssac can now supply a range of totally solid shaft couplings based on the five standard diameter sizes from 12 to 30mm commonly used for its range of helical beam style shaft couplings.
Phil Jones in technical sales at Abssac says: "Whilst the coupling does not offer any shaft misalignment capabilities, many applications just need to connect two rotating shafts but connection is normally via a grub screw arrangement.
Our unique clamping design ensures that there is no cyclic vibration and that the entirety of the shaft is clamped for optimum torque transmission".
The new SC series offers the designer a low cost shaft connection, with extremely high torsional stiffness, with the unique and reliable shaft clamping design.
The new SC series will be supplied in bore sizes from 3 to 16mm in outside diameters from 12 to 32mm. Request a free brochure from Abssac ...
