Reliable clamping for budget shaft
series

Abssac has a new miniature series of solid shaft couplings in stainless steel and aluminium.

Abssac has a new miniature series of solid shaft couplings in stainless steel and aluminium Using the unique integral clamping system of the helical beam coupling, the shaft is always concentric to the outside diameter even when tightened to the maximum

Phil Jones in technical sales at Abssac says: "Whilst the coupling does not offer any shaft misalignment capabilities, many applications just need to connect two rotating shafts but connection is normally via a grub screw arrangement.

Our unique clamping design ensures that there is no cyclic vibration and that the entirety of the shaft is clamped for optimum torque transmission".

The new SC series offers the designer a low cost shaft connection, with extremely high torsional stiffness, with the unique and reliable shaft clamping design.

The new SC series will be supplied in bore sizes from 3 to 16mm in outside diameters from 12 to 32mm. Request a free brochure from Abssac ...
