Ballscrews come with black chromium
finish

Abssac can now supply its complete range of precision rolled and ground ballscrews finished in a electrodeposited black chromium finish.

Abssac can now supply its complete range of precision rolled and ground ballscrews finished in a electrodeposited black chromium finish The 1 to 2um surface treatment does not affect the accuracy of the ballscrew but enhances its long term corrosion resistance

When supplying this surface finish, both the screw and nut body would be black chromium electrodeposited and then used in conjunction with stainless steel ball bearings. In a continuous program of product quality enhancement, the ballscrews are manufactured from selected materials which can guarantee a minimised frictional resistance and can assure high precision performance for long periods of time.

As standard the precision rolled screw products can be supplied with a C7 lead accuracy and 20um of backlash, whereas the precision ground can be delivered with C3 lead accuracy and zero backlash.

Basic ball screw diameter sizes are from 1.8p to 14mm with leads from 1 to 20mm.

Abssac offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of ballscrews in the UK.

Whether the requirement is for a standard ball screw or through the spectrum of accuracy classes to the precision ground backlash free ball screws, the company reckons it has a product to suit.

Its full machining capability enables it to deliver the screws machined to individual requirements as a guaranteed finished product. Request a free brochure from Abssac ...
