Abssac has expanded its lead screw range to supply any type of thread form.
It can supply multi-start or special thread profiles, auger mixing screws and self-reversing screw formats.
In addition to the range of lead screws, a range of plastic, steel or bronze nuts tapped and matched to the screw supplied is available.
The lead screws can be supplied in a machined, rolled or whirled format, using steel, stainless steel, aluminium or bronze.
Abssac also offers journal end machining, gun drilling, screw hardening and special coating treatments.

Lead screws available either way round
Lead screws supplied in both a right handed and left handed thread format can readily be supplied by Abssac. -

Increasing the helix angle on lead screws allows leads to be achieved up to 200mm, that is the captivated nut will travel 200mm in a linear direction for one complete rotation of the screw. -
