The new Revolution range of automatic carousel textile printers from Adelco use Ace shock absorbers to maintain print accuracy.

The new 'Revolution' range of automatic carousel textile printers from Adelco use Ace shock absorbers to maintain print accuracy.

The Revolution range is comprised of 24 models, offering six to 16 index stations and four to 16 colour printing.

Costs for the screen-printing machines which have diameters between 3.45m and 5.40m, range from £18,000 to £70,000.

Leigh Smith, technical director at Adelco said: "The quality of print registration and overall speed of printing are the two key features that our clients are looking for.

"The use of Ace's Magnum MA 64150 unit on the central indexing system means that any shock or vibration caused by the speed and movement of the index power is taken out of the system.

"The result being the accurate positioning, + or - 001 inch, of the print head each and every time." The MA 64150 is one of Ace's new Magnum high performance shock absorbers.

This adjustable unit has a maximum energy capacity of 6120 Nm per cycle and can handle effective weight range between 330kg to 80000kg.

Like all Magnum shock absorbers, it has a fully threaded body and can be adjusted from the front or from the rear, thus providing more versatile mounting options for the user.

An optional extra on the larger machines offered by Adelco is the fitting of two Ace SC190 miniature self-compensating shock absorbers to each print head to provide even greater print control and accuracy.
