Automation control equipment manufacturer Ace Controls International is adding two new models to its range of gas springs: the GS-8 and GS-70 new push type units.

The GS-8 is now the smallest gas spring offered by Ace with a body diameter of only 8mm.

Six models are in the range with extended body lengths between 72 and 192mm and strokes ranging from 20 to 80mm.

The available extension force can range from 10 to 100N.

By contrast the GS-70 is now the largest push type unit with a body diameter of 70mm.

Eight models are in the range with extended body lengths between 320 and 1720mm and strokes ranging from 100 to 800mm.

The available extension force can range from 2000 to 13000N.

These units are maintenance free and self-contained.

They are universally applicable to lifting or lowering.

They remove the need for 'muscle power' and provide controlled opening and closing.

A complete range of end fittings is available for the whole of the Ace gas spring range.
