Hydraulic dampers include an innovative balance chamber to produce a constant travel speed, resulting in a smoother and consistent damping force.

Automation control equipment manufacturer Ace Controls International has introduced a new range of hydraulic dampers which, due to an innovative balance chamber within the device producing a constant travel speed, results in a smoother and consistent damping force Three models are available - HBS 28, 35 and 70 - with stroke lengths from 50 to 800mm

These adjustable devices are maintenance free, self-contained sealed units with zinc plated steel bodies and hard chrome plated piston rods.

HBS units have an operating temperature range between -20 to +80C.

They are versatile and easy to install.

They can be fitted in any position, are available with a wide range of end fittings and typical applications include machine guards and lids, fire safety flaps and doors, damping oscillations of suspended loads, smoke and roof vents and much more.
