ATEX approval for fans and blowers

Air Control Industries has recently completed the process of gaining approval to the very latest stringent ATEX Directive.

Air Control Industries has recently completed the process of gaining approval to the very latest stringent ATEX Directive The European Directive 94/9/EC now applies to ACI's comprehensive range of fans, blowers and exhausters and certification ensures the safety and free trade of Ex products for their use anywhere within the European Union

Certified by Sira (Certificate number Sira 03ATEX9174), an independent certification service, ACI fan and blower units (including ACI's VB, MS11 and MR centrifugal ranges) can be manufactured in a range of materials which include stainless steel, galvanised steel or aluminium - for even more rigorous environments such as marine applications, special paint finishes are available on request.

All ACI certified fans units are for specifically for Group II, Category 2 and are designed for use in areas where explosive atmospheres are likely to occur.
