AC Technology has appointed AA Electric as a new distributor, making its popular SC range of motor drives available to processing, handling and packaging industries in the north of England.
AC Technology has appointed AA Electric as a new distributor, making its popular SC range of motor drives available off the shelf to processing, handling and packaging industries in the north of England.
Local drive system engineers and OEM designers are set to benefit from same day delivery of AC Tech drives as well as qualified, experienced technical support.
AA Electric, the Hull based distributor of electrical control systems can supply anything from circuit breakers to complete industrial automation solutions.
Andy Moulds, Sales Manager of AA Electric explained that AC Tech's Micro and Sub-Micro ranges of drives fill an important gap in its product portfolio; "We chose to stock the Micro and Sub-Micro SC range as a competitively priced alternative to drive systems made by rival manufacturers that often have an excess of expensive software for most applications".
"The AC Tech units provide an inexpensive solution for reducing energy consumption and improving performance when replacing electric motors in all types of applications, from fans and pumps to more complex conveyor control systems.
At AA Electric, we are now more able to provide the optimal solution for a customer's requirements by specifying the compact AC Tech range of drives and integrating them into complete drive systems, the deal is part of our continuing commitment to providing a one-stop-shop for design and maintenance engineers".
Peter Cribbin, European Sales Manager for AC Tech commented that: "The excellent customer service and technical support is what differentiates AA Electric from its competitors and the deal between the two companies is another important step in establishing AC Technology in the UK drives market.
AA Electric has its own distribution team that offers a same day delivery service of AC Tech products for customers within a thirty-mile radius.
A next day delivery service is available to companies nationwide and in case of emergencies, the company will do everything in its power to provide replacement drive units anywhere in the UK that same day".
