AccelRate Power Systems has appointed Saficon Industrial Equipment as the exclusive distributor of High-Speed industrial charger products for South Africa and surrounding territories.

AccelRate Power Systems has appointed Saficon Industrial Equipment, trading as Toyota Forklift, as the exclusive distributor of AccelRate's High-Speed industrial charger products for South Africa and surrounding territories.

This agreement with Saficon will significantly increase AccelRate's product awareness.

Toyota Forklift currently has the largest market share of any materials handling distributor in South Africa and generated over US $180 million in sales for 2005.

During the last 20 years, the company has served the forklift truck industry with sales, rentals and aftermarket maintenance in 15 major outlets in southern Africa.

Saficon is a division of Imperial Holdings with 32,000 employees and 2006 year-to-date sales exceeding US $7 billion.
