As an operating company of the Modern Group, Modern Handling Equipment of NJ has, since 1966, been a Hyster Company dealer with customers throughout New Jersey and the New York City metropolitan area.

Hyster Company is one of America's leading forklift manufacturers.

The "sister" company, Modern Handling Equipment Co, distributes the Hyster line in Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.

The Modern Group, an employee owned company founded in 1946, is one of the nation's largest distributors of materials handling, standby power generation, construction and maintenance equipment serving thousands of customers in the mid-Atlantic region.
