The new heavy-duty ALX 2038 labelling system features a modular construction that accepts standard 'bolt-on' label applicators, enabling it to be configured to most labelling requirements

Advanced Labelling Systems Ltd (ALS) has launched a new heavy-duty, automatic print and apply labelling solution, the ALX 2038.

Designed for continuous operation in the harshest of production environments, the ALX 2038 has been designed for ease of use and uncompromising durability.

The new heavy-duty system features a modular construction, that accepts standard 'bolt-on' label applicators, enabling it to be configured to most labelling requirements.

A unique feature of the new ALX 2038 is its ability to accept any industrial 'plug-in' print engine, from respected manufactures such as Sato, Zebra, Datamax and Novexx, providing a range of print options unsurpassed in the marketplace.

Furthermore, it allows customers with existing systems, who want to upgrade to a more robust unit, to extend their labelling system with the ALX-2038, while continuing to use their existing software, without the need to redesign labels or re-train staff.

For new and existing users of ALS systems, labels can be designed with EtiCAD2000, the company's proven label design package for Windows98, NT and Windows2000.

EtiCAD2000 features over 200 printer drivers, including those from Sato, Zebra, Datamax, Novexx.

The new ALX 2038 heavy-duty print and applying labelling solution is available in both left and right-handed versions.

As with all ALS equipment, the system is supplied with a unique 2-year, on-site parts and labour warranty as standard.
