Add2 has been appointed as distributor for Mechanical Simulation Corporation (MSC) of Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA.

MSC is the developer of CarSim and TruckSim - two impressive vehicle dynamics software packages.

These are used in the automotive industry for simulating and analysing the way cars, trucks and buses (with or without trailers) respond to driver controls on varying road surfaces correlated to real world conditions.

CarSim and TruckSim may be used as stand-alone programs or with real-time systems for hardware-in-the-loop testing.

This software helps develop complete vehicles, chassis systems, components, or electronic controllers.

Yet it is priced to allow all engineers involved in development and testing to have a copy of the program on their PC.

MSC's customers include many of the largest OEM and suppliers worldwide.

These packages form ideal companions to Add2's own products - Genix Target 1000 Simulator and microGen.

Genix Target 1000 Simulator is a generic PC based test system designed for simulation work, which includes Genix - a generic signal conditioning system configurable by software, which is gaining increasing popularity within the automotive industry.

MicroGen is a universal ECU with software configurable I/O and signal conditioning, based on the Motorola MPC555.
