New version of electronics teaching program
The new, version 2 Electronics CBT CD-Rom Training Program presents an interactive curriculum in the Fundamentals of Electronics, built within an innovative computer-based training environment
The Electronics CBT CD-ROM Training Program presents an in-depth, interactive curriculum in the Fundamentals of Electronics, built within an innovative, state-of-the-art computer-based training environment The latest release, version 2, has updated content which allows students access to an unlimited number of randomly generated practice questions and problems.
These interactive practice exams use multiple choice, word answer and numerical input as methods of evaluation.
The exams are automatically graded with tutorial feedback provided for each incorrect answer by referring the students to a specific section on the CD-ROM where the correct answer would be found.
The course material is delivered using video, audio, text, 2D and 3D animations, photos, and over 400 simulation based laboratory exercises using Electronics Workbench, the world leader in electronic circuit simulation.
The 'virtual lab' enables students to design circuitry, perform experiments and work with virtual electronic equipment as though they were in a real workshop - but they can be anywhere there's a Windows PC.
Twenty three comprehensive modules including 15 hours of audio material, 6 hours of video, 500 animations, 1500 review exercises, 23 final exams, and 400 Electronics Workbench laboratory exercises to review and reinforce the lessons.
Seamless integration of Multisim 2001, the world's leading educational schematic capture and circuit simulation tool, allows students to learn with an industry-recognized tool for easier transition in to the workplace.
Supported by an optional Course Management Package that includes a large base of test questions to generate individual random tests for each module of ET CBT, electronic grading of tests, and a records management database with reporting capabilities.
With the new network version of the CMP in version 2, exams can be generated and downloaded to individual workstations on a network.
The new Course Management Package now makes it very difficult for students to cheat, as each time an exam is copied onto a disk, the program creates a new set of numerical values for each exam question.
The course has proven effective in a wide variety of learning environments, including self study, corporate, industrial and educational.
Over 3000 students in lab or distance education programs have successfully used this program.
It's an ideal tool for anyone who wants to complete an electronics course but cannot attend classes due to other commitments.
