New from Adept Scientific, ChemOffice 2002 is packed with improved programs, new data sources and more useful problem-solving features than ever before.

It has just about every software tool a chemist is likely to need in their day-to-day work, and together with Microsoft Office (with which ChemOffice 2002 is tightly integrated) it provides chemists with a comprehensive desktop environment.

New ChemDraw 7.0 brings new levels of capability and ease of use to chemical drawing and document preparation, including a modernised GUI which can be customised to suit individual needs.

The package is even easier to work with Microsoft Word and Excel: users can call ChemDraw from within a Word document, enabling users to draw reactions and structures as they are needed in a report.

It also incorporates a new rich polymer notation consistent with IUPAC nomenclature and graphical representation.

The latest ChemFinder 7.0 adds a whole range of new features to this popular chemically intelligent database manager, including the ability to populate a ChemFinder database with a collection of ChemDraw structures (from Word or Excel) or ChemDraw files.

ChemFinder has extensive user interface enhancements including drop-down choice lists, database wizard, continuous forms and tabbed forms, and a new database wizard to facilitate database creation, import and linking.

One of the gems in ChemOffice 2002 is the inclusion of The Merck Index, 13th Edition.

The Merck Index has been a fixture on many chemists' bookshelves for years, and now it is available as a ChemFinder database containing the complete contents of the 13th Edition, to make organising ChemFinder databases even easier.

With its enormous range of programs, data resources and utilities, and its integration with Microsoft Office, ChemOffice 2002 raises the standards for the chemist's everyday utility package.

Whether it's used to create professional chemical drawings and documents, evaluate models and compute properties or manage chemical information, the new ChemOffice components will make chemists work more efficient and more effective.
