Measurement Computing has published a new 32-page catalogue on its latest PCI-DAS 6000 series of PCIbus data acquisition and control boards entitled "The only difference is the price".
Measurement Computing has published a new 32-page catalogue on its latest PCI-DAS 6000 series of PCIbus data acquisition and control boards entitled "The only difference is the price".
These class-leading boards have identical specifications to those in NI's PCI-6000 series, but are offered at prices up to 25-30% lower.
The catalogue, available from Adept Scientific, provides detailed comparisons of the Measurement Computing and National Instruments data acquisition boards including specifications, software compatibility, warranty information, and pricing.
A quick evaluation of the comparisons confirms that when comparing boards from Measurement Computing and NI, "The only difference is the price".
The new catalogue also includes details of two exciting new software packages.
The first is the new release of Universal Library for LabView.
This recent release allows users to use the same VIs they have been using with NI boards.
Now LabView users will not have to rewrite their programs to take advantage of Measurement Computing's lower-cost hardware.
The second new software release is the integration of Agilent's T and M (test and measurement) Programmers Toolkit into SoftWire.
