Maple 9.5 builds on the primary design themes that embody all core Maplesoft products.
Rock solid numerics and world-leading symbolics seamlessly integrated to offer the most powerful and extensive solver suite in technical software.
New features include: integrated algorithms for optimisation problems; solvers for differential-algebraic equation systems for advanced modelling applications; and major performance improvements.
The release also includes effective new tools to manage technical knowledge, including: an integrated dictionary of engineering and mathematical terms for instant access to reference information; user interface improvements that make complex operations intuitive and quick; enhancements to interactive plotting; and new features for advanced users to streamline programming and application development.
New features for education include: a student multivariate calculus package including computational routines, topic-specific visualisation, and innovative Maplet-based tutors; enhancements to the precalculus package and improved support of Maplesoft's MapleNet, and Maple TA e-learning solutions.
