Explosive growth and far-reaching adoption reported for mathematical problem-solving software in the worldwide commercial and government markets.

Adept Scientific has reported explosive growth and far-reaching adoption of Maple 10 mathematical problem-solving software in the worldwide commercial and government markets.

The Maplesoft technology is deployed at the top 10 RandD spenders worldwide, and 81 of the top 100.

Maple 10's user base spans most major industries, including aerospace, automotive, chemicals, electronics, government and life sciences.

It has received praise from many leading technical publications, including Desktop Engineering, Evaluation Engineering, EWeek, PC Magazine and Scientific Computing World.

In a review for the October 2005 issue of PC Magazine, Barry Simon wrote: "It takes a lot to impress most jaded software reviewers, especially with a product that we first reviewed in 1989".

"But we were totally blown away by Maplesoft's Maple 10 mathematical package".

Maple 10 has won several awards, including the Desktop Engineering Editor's Pick of the Week and the Scientific Computing 2005 Mathematics Product of the Year.

The product is a finalist for the Product Design and Development 11th Annual Engineering Awards.

Since its debut in May 2005, Maplesoft has recorded more than 1.85 million Maple 10 users.

"The widespread market acceptance of Maple 10 is proof positive that Maplesoft is ushering in a new age of industrial strength mathematics," said Jim Cooper, CEO of Maplesoft.

"By providing results that are reliable, repeatable and documented, Maple 10 is helping to unleash engineering knowledge as a corporate asset to drive quality, competitiveness and overall corporate performance.".
