The new version features a broad range of new capabilities and enhancements, including compatibility with Microsoft Visio.
This allows users to import business and technical drawings created in this popular diagramming program and turn them into process simulation models.
For general purpose discrete-event simulation, Micro Saint Sharp is the choice of professionals all over the world.
Its intuitive graphical user interface, its flow-chart approach to modelling and its powerful optimisation functions make it a software tool that can be used by generalists as well as simulation experts, in manufacturing processes, service industries, healthcare organisations and many other fields.
With a computer model of a process built in Micro Saint Sharp, users can begin to get the answers to "what if" questions.

Version 2.5 offers a lot more than you might expect from a "point" release.
As well as the capability to import and model Visio diagrams - a feature that will be welcomed to the many organisations using this Microsoft Office drawing tool - Micro Saint Sharp 2.5 features a new Scenario Viewer that makes it easier to visualise and add scenarios, and a number of new reporting options including tasks and scenario time-line reports.
The new ability to reuse model components with referential tasks and paths significantly reduces overall model development time.
Another time-saving improvement is the option to create model "snapshots" with a new automatic variable data collection option.
Overall performance has been significantly enhanced, and the overall look and feel of the software has been updated.
A new "go to" window makes it much easier to find things quickly.
The ability to turn off entity merging greatly improves model run performance.
Extended output options make it easier to store output files where you want them for easier comparative model run analysis; and an improved communication plug-in makes it easy to export model data to spreadsheets.
