Adept Scientific has added the USB-3101FS from Measurement Computing to its range of ruggedised USB devices.
The USB-3101FS has a robust metal outer casing, making it suitable for harsher environments and treatment.
Ingress protected to IP40, the USB-3101FS is capable of withstanding -40 to 70C temperature fluctuations.
Coupled with its play-and-plug installation, the USB-3101FS is Bus powered, making it suitable for field work.
The USB-3101FS is a four-channel, 100kS/s simultaneously updating analogue output module, which features +/-30V over-voltage protection, short-circuit protection, low crosstalk, fast slew rate, high relative accuracy and NIST-traceable calibration.
The module includes a channel-to-earth ground double-isolation barrier for safety and noise immunity.
Software included with the USB-3101FS includes: Tracerdaq, a data logging, viewing, and analysis application; Universal Library, programming libraries and drivers for Windows-based programming languages; Universal Library for Labview, VIs and program examples for Labview; and Instacal, an installation, calibration and test utility.
