A stainless steel housing welded to the sensing element and cable connection withstands system washdowns.
The pressure sensors also feature a stress-reduced diaphragm that withstands high-pressure spikes while a special internal restrictor maintains a high frequency response of 1kHz.
Units also possess high proof and burst pressure ratings.
Operating over a wide temperature of -40 to +85C, the AST47SM units provide high accuracy of better than +0.25% BFSL, with optional better than +0.25% BFSL of FS with calibration data.
Units are rated for over 100 million pressure cycles and have 100Vm of EMI/RFI to protect against electrical noise.
Available in pressure ranges up to 700bar, the ASTM47SM Series pressure sensors offer outputs of 10mV/V (50mV), 0-5V (three- or four-wire), 0-10V (three- or four-wire), 1-5V, 1-6V, 1-10V or 4-20mA (loop) to address different application requirements.
Units are available with various cable lengths and pressure ports including a 0.25in BSP male process connection and 0.25in NPT.
An optional 6-pin Bendix connection is available for direct integration into existing systems.
