Smart and fast IEEE 1394b (S800) C-mount colour and black-and-white cameras are equipped with sensitive Kodak 1.7cm" progressive scan CCD sensors.
The AVT Pike F-100B (b/w) and F-100C (colour) are smart and fast IEEE 1394b (S800) C-mount cameras, each equipped with a sensitive Kodak 1.7cm" progressive scan CCD sensor.
The camera has two data ports (daisy chain) and an external asynchronous trigger shutter, and operates in 14bit mode.
At full image resolution, it provides up to 48frame/s and is suited to fast applications in industrial image processing and product automation.
The built-in image processing possibilities (image pre-processing) result in image quality, reduced retouching, less load on the system and higher performance overall.
In the fibre version of the Pike, one port is configured as a GOF connection (LC, MMF, 850nm), which provides up to 500m cable length, 100% immunity to EMI and a perfect electrical isolation.
The integrated smart functions take over essential functions of the frame-grabber, which is compensated for by use of the Pike.
The Pike can be easily integrated into existing applications thanks to its flexible SDKs for Windows and Linux.
