Progressive scan camera turns to colour duties

An Adept Electronic Solutions product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 16, 2006

The CV-M71 progressive scan camera is especially suited for colour inspection, especially in such fields as food and agriculture and in printing-verification applications.

The CV-M71 CL camera uses the latest generation of RGB primary Bayer mosaic progressive scan half-inch CCD sensors with 782 x 582 pixel resolution (SVGA).

The half-inch format has the advantage of a large pixel size (8.3 x 8.3um), which results in higher sensitivity.

The camera outputs 24bit RGB via CameraLink.

Alternatively it can output 8 or 10bit raw Bayer images for host based colour interpolation.

The standard asynchronous trigger mode makes it ideal for a wide range of industrial vision and ITS applications.

Setup is by Windows NT/2000/XP software via RS232C or CameraLink.

The CV-M71 is especially well suited for colour inspection, especially in such fields as food and agriculture and in printing-verification applications.
