The MV2-D1280 is capable of speeds of up to 488 frames a second at full resolution and higher frame rates are possible with a reduced region of interest

Photonfocus has released the MV2-D1280-640 camera series, developed for industrial applications requiring very high frame rates.

The camera series features a micron CMOS sensor with 1280 x 1024 pixel resolution.

Using a global shutter the MV2-D1280 is capable of speeds of up to 488 frames a second at full resolution and higher frame rates are possible with a reduced region of interest (ROI).

The double connector, at the back of the camera, offers the high-speed CameraLink Full interface.

The Photonfocus camera features selectable eight or 10 tap output modes.

The 10 tap mode's adjustable clock rate enables lower clock rates and allows longer CameraLink cable lengths without the risk of data loss.
