Adlink Technology has released the first in a series of advanced video frame grabber products, the Angelo RTV The Angelo RTV series is designed without compromise for real-time image acquisition and therefore is perfect for security and video surveillance applications

The Angelo series cards are ideal devices for PC based multiple-channel digital video recording and also for machine vision inspection applications including licence plate inspection, traffic monitoring, position calibration systems etc.

The Angelo RTV series consists of four models, the RTV-24, cRTV-24, cRTV-44, and PMC-RTV21.

The RTV-24 is a four-channel, 32bit real-time frame grabber for the 33/66MHz PCIbus, whereas the cRTV-24 and cRTV-44 are 32/64bit real-time frame grabbers with 3 and 6U form factors for the CompactPCI bus, respectively.

The final model, the PMC-RTV21, is also a four-channel video frame grabber that supports 32bit and a 33MHz bus and is of PMC form factor.

All four models accept standard composite colours (Pal, NTSC) or monochrome (CCIR, EIA) in the 4CIF, CIF and QCIF video format.

In the mean time, the Angelo RTV series has implemented several function protection circuits and a watchdog timer for security purposes.

The WDM driver for the products is ready for Windows NT/98/2000/XP.

Also an easy programming API for VC++/VB/C++ Builder/Delphi language with sample program is available for the products.

The Angelo RTV series also provide a free utility, the ViewCreator, which provides a user-friendly interface for initial function tests and demonstrations. Request a free brochure from Adlink Technology ...
